I started with Blue ocean in April of 2018, having joined the team as a joiner with more than 30 years experience. After 6 months i started taking on more responsibility with the day to day supervision of joiners on site, which didn't go unnoticed by my peers and higher management, i spoke to Matty our director and stressed an interest to progress to supervisory position within the company. He enrolled me on a SSSTS course to get me started, which has since been 1 of many courses that i have been on to further my learning education. I have now been with blue ocean for 5 years, and i am on my 8th project of Managing the joinery package on site, and its been an excellent company to work for, i feel very much part of a team that offers help and support every day, and very much in touch with not only higher managers but also the daily communication with our director, Mathew porter. Blue ocean Offers its team of apprentices, joiners, and managers the chance to further their careers with training and courses, and in turn gives the company a higher level of experience to effectively produce quality workmanship both from joiners and managers. i would highly recommend Blue ocean building to anyone wanting a professional joinery package, adapted to suit the needs of any project, going above and beyond to fulfill the requirements and demands that a project expects of a professional company.
