Unable to get an appointment through reception despite one still being available on the day ! Ambulance rang next morning, admitted to hospital with a very high infection rate, pneumonia & sepsis. Paramedic pointed out I haven't seen a GP since 2010. Suffered another 24 hours in terrible pain & my condition getting worse. Worrying as the practice gives the impression that this lack of service is acceptable. Disappointing to say the least especially when you consider what you pay in, it's time we were give the option to opt out & go private without having to contribute to the NHS Re your response: I was offered an appt v late in the day, I was in Manchester awaiting transport as not in a fit state to drive. Had your reception even hinted an appointment wd be available I'd hv arranged alternative transport as I was desperately unwell. This appointment was offered by the GP via telephone as it was clear to anyone (other than your reception) I was extremely unwell by which time it was impossible to get there in rush hour traffic. Spoken with practice manager regarding this ... suggesting I just missed an appointment ! Seriously ? Your response as well as your service leaves a lot to be desired.

Amazing surgery..rang about my son after school. On call Dr ( Dr Macbeth) phoned me within 20 mins and asked him to come to the surgery for an examination. This surgery is a credit to the NHS ..Thank you for a 5 * health service

On behalf of myself and my husband Mark Berry, just wanted to say a massive thank you to the practice. Same day appt for bloods, GP appt the next day with prompt diagnosis of condition, treatment started. Follow up appts made and another call with GP who actually tried multiple times to call us despite us not answering initially. Thank you so much. We’re lucky to be with you. Katy xx

Recently joined the surgery and so far I'm very impressed. I've rang on two occasions and managed to get through within 10 minutes each time ( my previous surgery was nearly an hour) The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and doctors have also been very thorough. Thank you

Absolutely awful reception service. They’ve shifted to digital prescriptions without any correspondence with patients. The phone lines are for ‘over 80s and housebound’ I’m told. Person I spoke to was rude and dismissive.

What has actually happened since Covid? Before Covid easy to get through and then get an appointment. Called today and was 2nd in line, after 5 minutes was ‘next in line’ waited 30 minutes. Gave up. How is that acceptable? what was the 1st in line customer talking about or did the staff just go walk-about? Personally believe that many in NHS have lost interest. Rather disgraceful to include this practice. Just full of excuses for a poor service. You are a public service, pull your socks up. And don’t dare complain as you are seen as aggressive.

Terrible service. Wait 15 mins on phone to be told that you can’t see or get blood tests for 2 months. Never as good as when we was over the road. The sooner the NHS is privatised the better off we will all be. Victorian practices living in Victorian times.

Been to the surgery this morning for a flu jab, a very busy time, even though there was a continuous flow of patients all the nurses were bright, cheerful and very welcoming to each patient, thank you to Julie who as always, was very professional and helpful. Good job guys

Experience with GPs and HCPs always positive, if you can get to see one. Phone appointments with no slots, meaning you have to stay available and by the phone all day, some, not all, rude receptionists with no empathy, always a significant queue to get through so have at least 30 mins set aside. Email complaint sent and all points went unacknowledged in response. Air of arrogance and a like it or lump it attitude. Requested a review of meds 3 weeks ago, 2 GP, 1 pharmacist and blood test appt later and no further forward. As it's taken so long, I am now on holiday and they refuse to call me as I am abroad even though I am on a uk number so it doesn't make any difference to them. If I hadn't of said they wouldn't have known in fact! It's not an NHS thing as my wife is with another surgery and it is like night and day in comparison.
